Apple Takes A Design U-Turn With the New iPod Shuffle

Wednesday, 01 September 2010. Posted in News, Apple

We don't like buttons? We do like buttons? Apple's obviously undecided.

As Jobs stands in the spotlight ready to announce a whole new generation of holiday iPods, theres one inevitably anomaly in the lineup that's bound to undergo some change: The iPod Shuffle. Now, the Shuffle has respectively been a great device, a slim opportunity for the big A to attract that ever diminishing sector of the market who seem to have more sense than money (I'm sorry but if your reading this, your probably as guilty of technolust as I am!).

Well the fact that people tend to need some kind of tactile control over their player has indeed prevailed, and the previously microscopic model has been replaced with a 2008-style 2GB shuffle. Shipping in a week for £39 or $49.
