Berlin's greatly under-rated IFA consumer electronics show is now underway and there's one particular bandwagon manufacturers seem keen to jump on, you guessed it, it's the Tablet computer.

No surprise then to see the likes of ViewSonic, Samsung and Toshiba in the ranks. But the question is, do any of these big-time manufacturers really have the expertise, passion and finesse to produce an elegantly functional iPad competitor?
